Keisha Boyd Publicist
Keisha Boyd is equipped with more than two decades of experience in journalism, public relations, event planning, marketing and community outreach campaigns. As a graduate of the illustrious Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and the University of Phoenix, Keisha offers a diverse and multi-cultural background to her business partners and its clients. Keisha is a mentee/protegé of the late, great Ms. Pat Tobin of Tobin and Associates in Los Angeles, CA.
She had the opportunity to witness the power of Ms. Tobin and the overwhelmingly positive affect she had on her clients and people, in general. Keisha has adopted some of those same attributes in an effort to leave a legacy of her own. She opened the doors to Pickett Public Relations Group in 2003 and over the years, she’s worked on projects in various industries including entertainment, sports, luxury lifestyle products, education, film, non-profits, corporate and special events.
Keisha is a strong believer in learning, growing and giving. She aims to learn something new each day that will grow her mind and spirit; and looks forward to giving back the knowledge she’s learned to help others along the way. As a business woman first, she takes her job seriously; and is appreciative of the clients who trust her with the livelihood of their product or image.
Keisha has developed a great working relationship with national news outlets, the community and professional organizations, leaders and everyday citizens. Over the years, she has worked with several entities including Paragon Film Music (OWN’s David Makes Man, FOX’s Shots Fired, BET’s Gun Hill, Equalizer 2), Affective Music (Grammy nominated Mykal Kilgore), Joy M. Hutton (OWN’s Ready to Love, On the Go Glam) the National Bar Association, NFL, Urban World Wireless, Florida Department of Health, Florida Heritage Celebration, the National Franchise Expo, Black Enterprise Magazine, Hillsborough County Health Department and more. Keisha’s clients trust her to take their idea and thoroughly execute nearly flawless events and communications campaigns.
